Help Wanted By a Potential Affiliate: How to Connect the Dots in Online Product Offerings

Fitting the Pieces Together

Those of us who have staked out the Internet as a legitimate point of commerce are always on the lookout for ways to monetize our site.  Some, but not all, of us have come to terms with what we’re good at, what we love to do.  And, we’re passionate about it.

What I’ve always known intellectually is exactly the experience that I share with so many like me.  Being good at something does not create revenue streams.  Blindly acquiring the offers that fill our inbox to overflowing does not generate revenue, no matter what the ads promise.

What  a wonderful world it would be if the offers came with instructions that connected the dots between product acquisition and how to acquire customers –  for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced levels of expertise.  In order to do that you will need to make certain assumptions, sort of like software program applications.  For instance, before you download a program, it provides the minimum requirements that your computer must have to support the program.

There are a couple of products that do just that.  I’m willing to bet that those that do have developed a raving fan base, versus one-time buyers who are more likely to flame and blame.
